Gold filled also known as rolled gold has a base metal that has been bonded to a thick layer of 14 carat gold using pressure and heat. 5% of the jewellery’s weight is made of 14 carat gold. Gold filled jewellery is a high quality option for those looking for a cheaper alternative to solid gold. It is durable and when cared for properly can last a lifetime. -

Care instructions
While jewellery here at OAT is made to last, its life will depend on how you care for it in your everyday use. To make your jewellery last a long time keep it away from chemicals like cleaning products and chlorine. Take it off before swimming and exercise. Even the chemicals and oils in makeup, perfume and lotions can be damaging over a long time. To keep it from being caught and scratched on zips and clothing your jewellery should be the last thing you put on at the start of the day and the first thing you take off at the end of the day.
