What is Gold Vermeil?
Vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with a thick layer of gold. It is about 5 times thicker than regular plating. Vermeil is much less susceptible to tarnishing. All our vermeil jewellery is marked with a 925 stamp, referring to the sterling silver base. -

To make your jewellery last a long time keep it away from chemicals like cleaning products and chlorine. Take it off before swimming and exercise. Even the chemicals and oils in makeup, perfume and lotions can be damaging over a long time. To keep it from being caught and scratched on zips and clothing your jewellery should be the last thing you put on at the start of the day and the first thing you take off at the end of the day.
